Gray doesn't get much room in most base collections — usually one shade, if any. DNKa gives it two: #0013 Amazing for pale, soft gray, and #0013A Cheerful for this one, a dark gray with a genuine reflective quality that keeps it from reading flat or muddy under light.
That reflectiveness matters more here than in a lighter shade. Dark colors can go dull fast without something to catch light — this one shifts as your hand moves instead of sitting static. It reads more "graphite" than "storage-box gray."
Formula-wise it's built the same way as the rest of the Cover Base line: self-leveling, medium density, no shrink or spread during wear, 3-4 weeks before you'll see chipping or lifting. Comes in 12ml and 30ml, sized for salon volume or personal use.
Where it works well: matte top coats for a moody, graphite look; glossy top coats for something sharper and more polished; as a base under geometric or minimalist nail art where a neutral needs to hold its own without competing with the design.
